Jen, I can’t see what your code is, but let me help you. Try this:

get rid of the parenthesis, however.

Success! I think I was looking at the Textile site wrong. Thanks for your help!

Adorable! How did they come to live with you? (Sorry if you’ve posted the story before!)

Oh, holy crap. I just can’t get enough of these pictures! more! Can Kali hear? Is that a male white cat thing?

Aimee, a friend of mine was living in West Point, NY and working at the military academy in September of 2001. On the night of the 11th, after what was obviously a really horrible and stressful day, she and her husband went out for a walk. They heard what sounded like a baby’s cry, and they went behind their garage to investigate. They found three tiny kittens, just a few weeks old. They were in bad shape; all were covered in dirt and fleas, they had worms, and they were pretty sick. They brought the kittens inside and called their vet (at the time, they had two cats of their own), who came to the house to check out the babies. One of the kitties (an orange and white female) died, but two survived – a blue eyed, half siamese/half orange tabby female, and an orange tabby male (whose lung power probably saved them).

My friend couldn’t keep the kittens, but I was planning to move out to the east coast in a few weeks’ time, and I told her that I’d love to take them. I drove through West Point on my way from Detroit to Boston and picked up the kittens. We’ve been together ever since. :)

Here they are as teeny little squirts with my friend’s kitty Fate (who was actually from a litter Dub & Kali’s mom had prior to having them, so they’re related!)

Michele, Kali can hear just fine – I think the deafness thing is just an issue for blue-eyed all-white cats? It’s funny, though, because when she was really little the colors on her points hadn’t come in yet, so I thought she might be a white cat. As she has gotten older, her colors have deepened and become more pronounced.

Kali looks almost like a pure-bred flame point siamese. I love her coloring! There was an Icelandic lady I knew through LiveJournal who had a blind siamese kitty.

The mosaic is awesome! I think the bottom right is one of the first flickr photos I ever left a comment on. Many Dub and Kali favorites since then!
