Feline CRF

I lost my cat, Thomas, to complications arising from chronic renal failure several years ago. It’s a difficult problem to cope with, and I feel as though I could have done more for him if I’d had more complete information. For anyone with a cat suffering from kidney failure, here’s a great resource.

yzz, I have heard so much about Thomas. I wish I had met him in person. He seemed like such a wise cat. I will check out the site right away. I am always worried about kidney failure; I hear it’s a major cause of death in our feline friends. You must have had such a hard time letting him go. Feel free to write about your experience sometime. I have heard bits and pieces, but never the whole story.

Thanks for the link. Also, soon, Tobyjoe will enable auto-linking and it will be clickable.

He was a great kitty, that’s for sure. I miss him a lot. At the time, I was posting little blogs for him on MySpace – http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=225349

Nothing too detailed, though. I should write something up that’s more substantial. I still have a ton of lactated ringers, needles and IV lines, too – if anyone out there needs them, I’d be willing to negotiate price/trade/whatever.
