Hi,

My 13 month old cat Bella has recently been unwell, she orignially presented with a cloudy eye, which the vet though was Toxoplasmosis but after running a series of tests they all came back negative. She has been on antibiotics for about 3 weeks now and her eye seems fine, but I’ve noticed today that she has a couple of red spots on the top of her head and in both of her ears.

I also think that she is a little red around the rims of her eyes. She seems to be in normal spirits.

Any ideas what this could be?

I do have questions. Are they like sores? Or more like birthmark type marks? That might make a difference in the answer. Do you know?

Do you think they could be marks from flea bites or something?

Hmm, this is a tough one – they could be so many things…. allergy? simple skin irritation? related to the eye somehow? No idea – I’d give your vet a call and ask him or her.
