This is weird, figured I’d put it out there just in case someone comes along who has seen such a thing… Our cat, Pookum, (she’s 11) licks her chest every time you rub her belly. What’s this all about? Typical weird cat antics or something worrisome?

Maybe she thinks you have cooties. ;) When this happens, does she lick her chest to the point where she’s licking her fur off? Of course I’m not qualified to have an opinion, but it doesn’t sound like something to worry about.

I will try and take a video of this. She’s like a machine with a chest liking button on it. So it shouldn’t be too hard to capture on film.
